This story has a lot of tragic elements, but I think the personal strength of the woman interviewed keeps it from being a tragedy. It was heartbreaking to hear about how she had the rug pulled out from under her by her partner who suddenly gave her an ultimatum after pretending to be cool with her lifestyle. It's not okay to lead people on and then drop them just because they won't abandon their whole life at the drop of a hat. But it sounds like she had the sense of self to stick to her guns and I commend her.
