I am so glad I listened to this gentleman's story. He was there for Dr. King's speeches and efforts to unite all Americans. I wish we could get more of these stories recorded for our future. He is a sage, and I especially appreciate his response to the last question, and the value of those who succeed going back to their communities to be role models of Hope for those still there, still struggling. This statement hit me deeply in my heart: "We are going to be free when the economic value of business buildings of blacks is equal to the value of churches owned by blacks..." Wow! May it be so within my lifetime. ❤
